Garbage, Trash, Recycling and Yard Waste (CC&Rs Article IX Section 15)
Most of the homes in the community are located in the City of Stuart which supplies containers for garbage, recycling, and yard waste. Stuart pickup days are as follows:

Pineapple Plantations Rules & Regulations pertaining to Trash and Garbage.
1. All garbage, recycling and yard waste containers must be stored in the garage or a walled-in areas or landscaped areas so that they are not visible from any adjoining Lot or any street.
2. No Lot shall be used or maintained as a dumping ground for rubbish, trash or other waste. There shall be no burning of trash or other waste material.
3. No rubbish, trash, garbage, yard waste or other discarded items shall be placed or allowed to remain upon any Common Area.
4. Trash, garbage or other waste shall be kept only in closed containers and all equipment for the storage or disposal of such materials shall be kept in a clean and sanitary condition.
5. Residents may place garbage/trash container outside by the street after 5 pm the evening before pick-up day. Residents should remove the container from the street and properly store it by 8 pm the day of the pickup. Please do not put yard debris or bulk items out at the street before the pickup day. 6. Yard Waste should be placed on the homeowner’s lawn not on the curb gutter, the street or Common. Also, yard debris cannot be in plastic trash bags, the City will not pick it up. Bags must be paper. (CC&Rs Article IX Section 21)
